CASE OF SPACING DUE TO TONGUE THRUSTING

Often improper swallowing pattern can lead to gaps developing in front or all teeth due to excessive pressure from the tongue.

Here the patient was 18 year old who was developing gaps in front teeth due to tongue thrusting on speaking and swallowing with macroglossia.

Spaces were closed with fixed therapy and prolonged tongue thrusting appliances nd tongue tamers were used to avoid relapse.

CASE OF IMPACTED CANINES

On many occasions canines fail to erupt due to over retained milk teeth, obstructions in eruption pathway, genetic to name few of the reasons.
Canine being the corner stone of dentition is a critical tooth and always tried to be saved in dentition.
Here is the case where a maxillary and mandibular canine was retrieved in over 2 years times.

Case of Improper function-
Patient unable to bite on right side due to malaligned posterior teeth... Uncommon finding but very important as a clinician.

Treated with mini screw anchorage and a lot of couple mechanics.
