A case of long term temporary restoration...
old trauma resulting in complete resorption of buccal cortex...restored with immediate implant placement and gbr and prf ..
6 months post grafting... implant supported composite temporary crown was fabricated chair-side..
6 months into the procedure...a temporary crown restoration and a promise of better things to come....

Old traumatic injury on both the centrals .... discrepancy in gingival zenith and impacted supernumeraries under both the centrals... Odds definately not in favor for an esthetically acceptable result...
But 12 months and innumerable visits later ...the transformation speaks for itself...

Procedure involved socket shield technique implant placement...sticky bone grafting, prf and soft tissue augmentation and temporary teeth modification every few months to get the desired emergence profile...
The story doesn't end there....

did a fantastic job with customised metal abutments and dmls crowns for this case...I'm sure it wasn't easy getting an esthetically pleasing result with metal ceramic crowns...

One of the most challenging aspects of implant dentistry is managing the soft tissue in the aesthetic zone....
This is as good a result as it can get...

There are no quick fix solutions to any problem... Time and effort is the key...
Fortunately he agreed for the long road ahead....with 1 yr of braces treatment followed by porcelain veneers...
This not only gave a more natural look....but also saved all his front teeth from senseless mutilation...

Where's the fracture line...at what level did the tooth break..... I don't know and I don't care..... That's the kind of end result we strive for....

There are no shortcuts when you are dealing with nature....it takes its own sweet time ....but given that time....the end result is always worth the effort....
A case of severely compromised dentition with multiple abcesses and mostly all teeth being grade 3 mobile...
A total extraction with socket preservation grafting and prf assissted soft tissue augmentation was done
6 long months later implants placed with temporary dentures...
And 6 months later final prosthesis were fabricated....
13 long months later a new journey has just begun...
