Although located in a busy office district, our excellent location on Mathew Road, a tree-lined street just off the main road allows a quiet and peaceful environment for treatment. Just a little reminder of the that can happen at work! Dr Hasanain Shikari assisted a social service organisation in rural Saagwada, Rajasthan by performing cataract surgeries to bring back vision.
Over 135 surgeries were carried out over 3 days at this cataract camp. So many of these patients were blind or almost blind and needed only a simple surgical procedure to restore vision. To people who are sometimes unable to afford even daily meals - these camps offer free surgeries, medications and post-op care.
Some of these people will now be able to work and support their families. Some will be able to cook and take care of themselves.
