Dr. Anish Naware (Endodontist) in Episode 3.26 of Instrumentor Series 3 discusses Why Go for iPost? and explains how anatomical adaptation plays a crucial role in achieving a stable and long-lasting post-endodontic restoration.

In this episode, Dr. Naware explains how the iPost is designed to compensate for the anatomical coronal flare present at the canal or***ce. Unlike conventional parallel posts, he highlights that the iPost can be adjusted apically to match the canal anatomy, providing improved stability and minimizing the risk of post dislodgement.

He also discusses why achieving a precise fit at the or***ce level is essential for long-term success. According to Dr. Naware, proper adaptation of the post enhances retention and stability, making post-endodontic restorations more predictable and durable.

If you want to understand the principles behind selecting a stable post for endodontically treated teeth, this episode offers valuable clinical insights.

Dr. Anish Naware (Endodontist) in Episode 3.25 of Instrumentor Series 3 discusses Post-Endo Restoration: iPost (Part 1) and explains why post-endodontic restoration planning should begin even before starting root canal treatment.

In this episode, Dr. Naware emphasizes that the first step after endodontic therapy is to determine whether the tooth is restorable. He explains that the restorability of the tooth should be assessed before initiating root canal treatment, as this decision plays a crucial role in long-term success.

He further discusses the importance of using a post when more than 60–70% of the tooth structure has been lost. Introducing the iPost, Dr. Naware explains how it is designed to compensate for the coronal flare, helping achieve better adaptation and reducing the chances of post failure. He highlights that compensating for the natural anatomy of the canal is essential for improving the longevity and stability of post-endodontic restorations.

If you want to understand when a post is required and the principles behind successful post-endodontic restoration, this episode offers valuable clinical insights.

Dr. Anish Naware (Endodontist) in Episode 3.24 of Instrumentor Series 3 discusses Why We Prefer Non-Standardized GP Points and explains why selecting the right master cone is critical for achieving a predictable obturation.

In this episode, Dr. Naware explains why non-standardized gutta-percha (GP) points are preferred as the master cone. He discusses how these GP points do not have a fixed tip size and can be trimmed to precisely match the canal preparation, allowing better adaptation within the prepared root canal.

He also highlights that non-standardized GP points contain less zinc oxide, making them softer and better able to adapt to the irregular shape of the apical foramen. According to Dr. Naware, achieving a true tug back with a softer master cone provides better adaptation, reduces microleakage, and contributes significantly to the long-term success of root canal treatment, regardless of whether a warm or cold obturation technique is used.

If you want to improve your obturation outcomes by understanding the advantages of non-standardized GP points, this episode offers valuable clinical insights.
