My niece who is a high school student in Michigan, USA is volunteering with Smile Train to create awareness about cleft lip and palate deformities and running a donation drive. Last year she had raised close to 2000$ and donated to Smile train and could fund more than 6 surgeries. This year she is trying to raise donations for the same. It was an honour to speak at the 10 MSC AOMSI conference Pune on a very important topic
“ UNDERSTANDING RESULTS IN CLEFT LIP & PALATE”

The scientific schedule was meticulously and thoughtfully planned out. Everything was on schedule. Kudos to Dr Pushkar Waknis & his scientific team for being so precise and spot on.

A big thank you to the organising chairperson Dr Halli and the secretary Dr Pushkar Gadre and the entire team Pune who have put in tremendous efforts to pull off such a marvellous conference. Right from the venue to the trade to scientific everything was just brilliant.

Nose is the most prominent feature of the face and hence has a great significance in improving the overall aesthetic appeal of the face. Rhinoplasty or Septorhinoplasty or Nose job in common language is a surgery done to improve the appearance and function of the nose. People with difficulty in breathing / asymmetric nose benefit significantly from this surgery functionally, esthetically and most of all psychologically.

Management of Recurrent Ameloblastoma ( Tumor of Lower jaw) with resection of part of the lower jaw and reconstruction with Free Iliac crest ( Hip bone) bone graft. 1.3 years post surgery. Facial symmetry maintained.
