A wholehearted smile looks beautiful on everyone.. however a natural gap between the teeth can make a person conscious and stop their smile.
A short, non invasive, and not so costly procedure can change a person's confidence level for better.

Wisdom tooth stories:
A wisdom tooth is always treated stepmotherly due to the various problems it brings along with. Any major trouble with a wisdom tooth will be treated with an extraction of the same.
However in a few cases the wisdom tooth becomes a saviour and helps restore other more important missing teeth.
Such was this case where the upper wisdom tooth was used to replace the missing 2nd molar, along with the 1st molar. Root canal treatment of the wisdom tooth was carried out. A wisdom tooth provides a lot of challenges to a root canal treatment as the access is poor and the root anatomy is curved and unpredictable.

Sometimes a root canal treated tooth will start hurting again. This happens due to reinfection of the tooth . The causes can be a variation in the anatomy of the tooth like extra canals, bigger diameter of the canal than usual or a difficult anatomy. A repeat root canal (RE-RCT) can take care of the infection and save the tooth. One has to approach a dentist who has greater experience of treating root canals. Always remember..its best to save your natural tooth whenever possible . When not possible we can plan a replacement.

Sometimes teeth are damaged beyond repair and the only option left is to replace it....Implants are a great treatment modality to replace such teeth. However not every case can be treated with an implant. Visit your dentist to know more....

Patient was visiting India for a month and had visited us for a root canal....that was completed ..... then we pointed out the fact that these spaces could be closed without any damage to the existing teeth and that too in about an hour....the patient had been living with these gaps for almost 30years and found it unbelievable.....we did our job and made her a believer....

Some patients have a very high esthetic demand...
In this case there was no major change required however the patient desired subtle changes in the gum contour as well as the teeth.
We did a small gum reshaping surgery and changed the crowns on the front teeth with the aim of achieving better shape and a more natural appearance.
You ll notice that the new crowns are more similar to the patient's other teeth.

Patient had an unlucky fall a week b4 diwali....half of his front tooth broke off leaving this gaping hole and painful feeling of loss.....we attached the same fragment back in a single session and reduced his anxiety a bit.....of course he ll need further treatments but for the time being ..he can smile confidently!!!
