A healthy smile leads to a healthy life!

Yesterday we kicked off the second year of our School Oral Health Promotion Program at a BMC school in Chincholi Bundar, Malad.

Last year, we not only did free check-ups for 1,11,656 students but also educated them on oral hygiene and taught them the right brushing technique. This is one of the biggest urban oral health initiatives that span across 24 Municipal wards, 840 schools and involves over 142 dentist/ interns.

A huge shout out to Shivsena Leader & Yuvasena President Shri Aditya Thackeray, Celebrity Dentist & Trustee of IICER Dr Sandesh Mayekar & Chairman Education Committee, BMC Mrs Anjali Naik for gracing us with their presence and supporting us to make this initiative a huge success for the second year in a row.

Oral cancer is one of the most prevalent diseases in India. One third of the world’s oral cancer cases are in India.
