An interesting case, where two lesions are very close to each other, one almost joining the other lesion. When we examine the axial sections carefully, it can be discerned that they are two separate entities.

One: periapical cyst with right lateral incisor and right canine.
Second: Enlargement of the incisive canal more than 1 cm diameter, is suggestive of Incisive canal cyst.

Why it’s important to visualise an impacted tooth in all sections? Here, we can see a horizontally impacted tooth. When we see in the 2d view, we can see a single straight root. However, a detailed cross section and Sagittal view reveals 2 roots, and severe Dilaceration of the apical third of the distal root.
