BUST these myths FOREVER!!
I have seen many patients having vivid pre-conceived notions & reservations about getting a teeth clean up or Scaling as it’s rightly called . On the contrary, the ADA(American Dental Association) recommends that every individual should get scaling done every 6months,in order to maintain our gums & bone around our teeth healthy. The gums & alveolar bone supports & holds our teeth firm in place.
Tartar (calculus) is an irritant to the gums, causing them to move away from the teeth ———-> resulting in :
1)tooth sensitivity(pain to hot/cold items) 2)tooth mobility ( tooth shaking ) So keep your teeth firm & healthy,
With regular clean ups, biannually!!!
