I got a call from a distressed son,
Son : Hello doctor, I got your reference from this senior practitioner, I want to get new dentures made for my 'baba'.
Me : sure, let me know what appointment suits him the best to come to my clinic
Son : Here is the thing doc, he has hemiplegia since few years and is almost bed ridden, getting him to the clinic might not be possible and I was hoping there is some way you can help as he hasn't had any solid food past few months.
Me : (after a brief pause)
How about I visit your home and make a denture for him
Son : wow! Is that possible doc,?! That would be great.

After two challenging weeks of making impressions, jaw relation, trials everything in supine position, on the day of denture insertion; baba said doctor you did a great job and I will try to sit up and we can click a picture of us!!!
