Behind every successful woman is a tribe of other successful women who have her back !

In my transition into motherhood I recently made a discovery and it was this - you dont have to struggle alone --- there are other people - especially women who have been through exactly what you have been through and maybe done exceedingly well at it !
Its ok to ask for help or admit that you dont have all the answers and sharing your collective wisdom and experience definitely makes for a better outcome !

OUR BABIES FIRST HOLI !!

The weekend was a great time as we celebrated Holi and marked Arthh & Aanya's blessed 150 days in the world !!

In India we have a custom of keeping our babies protected for a period of 40 days or a few months till the family feels comfortable to share them with the world (hence the blurred faces )

They say a child's world view comes from their parents and the way they comprehend the world as a safe or unsafe place really determines their perspective on life ! We have decided to make the world a safe and loving place for them where they can be seen, shared and celebrated without fear and superstition ! ( mommies you know what i'm talking about)

On the occasion of Holi another beautiful Indian tradition describing the victory of good over evil and righteousness over wrong doing ...I can say we are finally happy to drop our fears and share our little ones with the world!

THE MOST COMMON QUESTION

Every dentist has faced this question no matter where they are ...in the clinic, in an elevator, a flight or even a party - DR WHICH IS THE BEST TOOTH BRUSH ?

My simple answer has always been - THE ONE YOU ACTUALLY USE !

I always emphasize before we get into products and the science and (sometimes marketing) that goes behind them ensure you have the right motivation and HABITS
you still need to do the work albeit it can be more effectively done, however There are no SHORTCUTS!!
