It's not just about closing that space..
It's about Esthetics and that differs from Patient to Patient.
This patient has generalized spacing and wanted to close only the the midline diastema.
After evaluation I explained to him that complete closure might look odd and unnatural.
I let him check the space closure as I was working and both of us agreed on leaving it at this.
Esthetics should be about natural looks and not just following and doing the same thing for every patient.

Dental Trauma in Children.
A fall, sports injuries, getting hurt while playing are very common in kids. Sometimes these result in Tooth injuries.

This patient around 7 yrs old was playing with a torch and ended up fracturing her Central incisor.
Her parents carried the fractured tooth segments which was a very good thing to do.

The broken tooth pieces were re-cemented and it looked good as new.

Note-Not all cases are the same. Your Dentist will be the best person to decide on the treatment plan best suited for you.

Transforming Smiles 😊
A young 16 year old patient walks in for a few fillings. When I asked him about his front teeth he said he had braces on for around 3-4 years(due to Covid)and once they were removed his teeth looked like this. He was hesitant to smile and asked if I could do something. And I did😊

This wasn't caused by braces but mostly due to hygiene. Braces require extra care!.

Just simple composite restorations done well can make a big difference! !!
