A Health education class was conducted at St George Orthodox Church ,Muthupala,Vennikullam.It was attended by almost 112 senior citizen ladies with basic knowledge of oral hygiene maintenance ,oral diseases as well as oral cancer.Awareness has been given to the them with the main motive of “Prevention is better than cure”

A dental awareness program was conducted by IDA Kottayam branch at St Mary's LP school ,Vadavathoor. The awareness class was presented by Dr Preethi Susan Prasad.There were a total of 60 people including the students and staff.Students upto the age of 9 were present.Samples of pastes were distributed amongst them.
The program was well recieved and contributed effectively to bring up an awareness about oral hygiene ,caries and brushing technique.
