Patient presented with severe pain, particularly during mastication (biting). Clinical examination revealed an ๐‘ฌ๐’๐’๐’Š๐’” ๐‘ช๐’๐’‚๐’”๐’” ๐‘ฐ๐‘ฐ๐‘ฐ ๐’‡๐’“๐’‚๐’„๐’•๐’–๐’“๐’†. Interestingly, the patient reported having undergone Root Canal Treatment (RCT) on the same tooth just months ago(from Dubai).

Due to the extent of the damage, extraction was necessary. Upon inspecting the extracted tooth, the cause of failure was clear: ๐’‚ ๐’„๐’๐’Ž๐’‘๐’“๐’๐’Ž๐’Š๐’”๐’†๐’… ๐‘น๐‘ช๐‘ป ๐’‘๐’“๐’๐’„๐’†๐’…๐’–๐’“๐’†. The access opening was improperly executed, leaving the pulp chamber and canals uncleaned and unobturated. This resulted in necrosed pulp tissue, leading to periapical granuloma and, ultimately, a weakened, fractured tooth.

๐‹๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง: Quality endodontic care is vital. A "finished" RCT is only successful if the canals are thoroughly cleaned and sealed.
