Effects of parental rage on children

The relationship between parents and their offspring is a lifelong bond. Once a person becomes a parent, his or her role becomes permanent. The baby grows into an adult and the age old cycle continues.
Parenting is an art, and parenthood is a role, which is full of ups and downs. No parent is perfect and that is normal.
Children are growing human beings. They are not always in sync with their parents, leading to challenges of generation gaps and generational conflicts. Coupled with that, parents often get frustrated with struggles of life. Being humans, they often end up raging against their offspring, leading to trauma for both the generations.

Parents need to vent out, but not on their children. The growing child needs a positive ambience where he or she gets nurtured and encouraged. Assertive parenting is ideally preferred to angry parenting. Parents need to understand that their behaviour affects their families.
