Root canal treatment of 46

Patient came with a complaint of pain in lower right back teeth region for past few days

On examination disto-occlusal caries with pulpal exposure was seen along with fracture of the disto-lingual cusp, widening of lamina dura was noted along the apical border of distal root was noted as well. Tooth was tender on percussion.

Diagnosis: Symptomatic apical periodontitis with Symptomatic irreversible pulpitis.

Treatment plan: Root canal treatment followed by extra coronal restoration.
