Day 2 of first module of Basic Implantology course. Participants were introduced to the implant surgical kits, explained surgical anatomy of the maxilla and mandible and they placed a dummy implant in models. After two days of brainstorming and extensive learning, first module ended on a high note with the participants looking forward to placing their first implant in the second module!

First module of Basic Implantology course. Participants were introduced to the basics of implant design, diagnosis and diagnostic techniques, treatment planning and basics of implant prosthetics. Hands-on training was provided in OPG and CBCT interpretation and suturing techniques.

After being involved in active dental practice for over a decade, the Directors of Wings Dental Academy, Dr.Janak Kapadia and Dr.Nikita Kapadia decided to share their expertise with other dentists and budding dental professionals.
The first course launched by Wings Dental Academy is the Basic Implantology Programme in collaboration with two other experts in the field. The Director of Wings Dental's academy,Dr.Janak Kapadia (MDS PERIODONTOLOGY AND ORAL IMPLANTOLOGY) along with Dr.Santosh Shingote (MDS PROSTHODONTICS) and Dr.Avinash Kshar (MDS ORAL MEDICINE,DIAGNOSIS AND RADIOLOGY) conducted the first and second modules of the programme on 19th and 20th February and 11th and 12th March respectively.
