8yr old patient reported with a complaint of pain in right lower primary second molar. Pain was managed with analgesics by a general dental surgeon. I advised them for a radiograph to assess the status of the primary and permanent tooth.. RVG revealed the absence of premolar and 85 is partially erupted. A conventional RCT was done. Due to Supra eruption of upper molar sscrown was the restoration of choice. If required implants can be done later..

Points to be remembered in bottle feeding a child.
1.Baby should be fed exclusively with mothers milk for the first 6 months
2.Bottle feeding should be started only after pediatricians opinion.
3. Bottle feeding should not be used as a pacifier. (Dont use the bottle to stop the crying).
4.dont let the baby to sleep with the bottle.
5. Bottle feeding shud be stopped by 18 months
6. Bottle feeding should be done for a short time only.
7.babys gums and teeth must be cleaned with sterile and moist cotton after bottle feeding..

Children get carried away by the commercials... it is our responsibility to stop them from eating them r at least reduce the frequency of them.. an ideal snack should be non sticky n minimal sugar content. Dental care under general anesthesia for children.
Children who lack cooperating ability, children with multiple treatment needs are best treated under general anesthesia. In our hospital we have in patient facilities and other infrastructure to manage a child under general anesthesia. Procedures will be carried out by a team of pediatrician, anaesthetist and two pediatric dental surgeons.

A tooth present between the two central incisors is called a mesiodens. Mesiodens can cause mid-line spacing (diastema) and crowding between central and lateral incisors. Sometimes a mesiodens may be impacted within the bone. Early extraction of mesiodens can reduce the possibility of spacing and crowding.

Immediate interim dentures.. Replacement of teeth is usually done after the complete healing of extraction socket. The healing period is around two weeks. In the case of anterior teeth (front) patients want immediate replacement after extraction. In such case an immediate interim denture is fabricated before extraction and it is cemented at the time of extraction itself. Permanent prosthesis can be made after two weeks.
