So here are the options for it's replacement

⏩ Implant is the most acceptable treatment option for replacement of single missing tooh

⏩ Implant is basically a titanium screw being placed inside the bone surgically in the area of missing tooth and after proper adaptation and healing of bone and soft tissue..Crown(Cap) is placed on it with the help of abutment(connection)which connects Implant and the crown

⏩Bridge is the another suitable option for replacing missing tooth .

⏩Success rate for bridge is around 10-15 years ..and also depends on the oral hygiene of the patient.

⏩It is basically a false tooth called as pontic which is held in place by the adjacent teeth called as abutment teeth on either side of the gap.

💉Implant involves a surgery for it's placement while
🌉bridge involves trimming of the teeth's upper layer so as to make space for the bridge to accomodate

We dentist have to work accordingly which is best for patient and their pocket.

So..Here it is ,a case of Porcelain fused to metal 3 unit bridge wherein the missing tooth is a lower second premolar and it's been replaced prosthetically with the help of two adjacent abutment teeth. i.e.the lower first premolar and the first molar.
Both the teeth have undergone endodontic treatment before.
