However, we rarely highlight the dedicated service and support engineers who ensure our dental equipment functions seamlessly.
These professionals work tirelessly behind the scenes so that patient care is never interrupted. Their contribution often goes unnoticed, yet it is absolutely vital to daily clinical practice.
Recently, I faced an issue with my portable Vatech X-ray unit. I reached out to Mr. Hemant Kambli, and I sincerely appreciate his prompt and highly professional response. Within just a couple of hours, he arranged a standby portable unit, coordinated the pickup of the existing machine, and ensured it was dispatched to Delhi for service without delay.
Such quick response, standby support, and smooth coordination are rare in today’s dental equipment industry. This level of service truly helps clinics continue patient care without disruption.

Recently, a 5-year-old child 👶 visited us for routine dental treatment — fillings and root canal therapy. As per our standard protocol, we advised an OPG X-ray using our in-house digital OPG machine 🩻

What we discovered was truly unexpected 😯

The OPG revealed a metallic foreign object lodged in the LEFT NOSTRIL 👃 — something not visible or suspected clinically.

Based on radiographic findings, we suspected it to be a Ghungaroo / metallic bead 🔔. This was later confirmed when the object was successfully retrieved by an ENT specialist under sedation.

After completing dental treatment, the child was referred for ENT management and treated successfully.

This case highlights the importance of OPG X-rays 📌

An OPG is not “just another dental X-ray” — it helps detect: ✔ Hidden infections
