A child patient (11Yrs/M) was operated yesterday at Maharaj Vinayak General Hospital, Jaipur Dental College, Jaipur.
Preliminary Biopsy and CT Scan revealed a Juvenile Ossifying Fibroma (Provisional Diagnosis) of Size 3.5 *2.5* 2cm.

This was a rare case operated under General anaesthesia. The lesion was entirely removed and occlusion was established completely. Pathological fractures were fixed with the help of continuous Recon plate. Specimens were sent for histopathological examination.

Hoping the best recovery for the child and will be following the case in future and Recon plate will be removed after 6months so that the kid’s mandibular growth doesn’t get hamper.
