RETROGRADE PERI IMPLANTITIS AND ITS MANAGEMENT

A periapical pathology involved tooth 44 with vertical bone loss was extracted and 12 weeks later Implant was placed . 3 weeks later patient developed swellingwith collected pus in labial vestibule, IND and perapical curettage was done ,the labial cortex was well maintained with periapical Radilolucency at implant apex. After 4 months radiologically the Implant apical area was well healed and crown delivered.
