बचपन में किसी चोट , बीमारी या दुर्घटना की वजह से आँख नाक या कान क्षतिग्रस्त हो जाते हैं जिनकी वजह से है बच्चों का सामान्य जीवन प्रभावित होता है उनको खेल कूद में ,अन्य बच्चों के साथ खेलना या उनके साथ बराबर से पढ़ाई लिखाई करने में , उनके आत्मविश्वास में किसी तरह की कमी आती है तो इस तरह की क्रत्रिम या आर्टिफिशियल अंग बना देने से उनको एक सामान्य जीवन का एहसास होता है और अपनी प्रतिभा को ज़्यादा बेहतर और अच्छे तरीक़े से निखार सकता है

इसमें समय समय पर चेहरे के विकास के हिसाब से दिखाना होता है और उम्र के साथ साथ जैसे जैसे चेहरे का आकार बढ़ता जाता है क्रत्रिम अंग को दो या तीन बार बदलना भी पड़ता है।

पीडियाट्रिक डेंटिस्ट्री विभाग में एक नई उपलब्धि का योगदान जुड़ गया है जिसमे एम वाय अस्पताल के पीडियाट्रिक सर्जरी विभाग और निश्चेतना विभाग के सहयोग से एक ही दिन में दो बच्चों का जनरल एनेस्थीसिया में दांतों का इलाज किया गया ।

अत्यधिक दर्द सूजन और सड़न की समस्या से जूझ रहे बच्चों के दंत रोग का उपचार किया गया,इस प्रकार के इलाज में किसी भी तरह का कोई दर्द नहीं होता है और एक बार में ही सारे दाँतो का इलाज किया जाता है ।
