A team of dentists from Dentx Dental Care successfully conducted a Dental Awareness Camp at Wow Kids Small Steps on 18th July at 10:00 AM.

The session focused on creating awareness about the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene from an early age. Children, parents, and staff were educated on proper brushing techniques, healthy dietary habits, cavity prevention, and the importance of regular dental check-ups.

The camp also included dental screenings and interactive oral health education, helping promote healthy smiles and encourage lifelong oral care habits.

Patient complains of spacing and mismatch of color after placement of crowns & wanted to replace them.
Important steps when placing crowns is
1) proper evalution of the alignment of teeth in the arch, occlusal contacts and surrounding gums
2) esthetics & shade matching of crowns with adjacent teeth is very signficant for giving a natural appearence.
3) In case of spacing, we need to make sure that crown size should be able to cover the space without drastically increasing the size of crown( based on that the number of teeth to be involved needs to be evaluated)

Patient came with complaint of disloged crown.Option was to remove tooth and place a Dental implant but i always prefer saving the tooth with my best capabilty rather than giving an artificial replacement.. im glad i took up the case as a challenge.. performed RootCanalTreatment & gave a post and build up the tooth back to its original strength and gave a crown # art and beauty of dentistry # happy patient
