Although shedding of milk teeth and eruption of permanent tooth in the right position is a natural process, at times due to certain causes, a delayed or altered eruption can occur.

Our patient lost her front milk tooth about a year back. Still there was no sign of her permanent teeth in that place. We removed the thick tissue barrier using LASER which was blocking its natural eruption . A painless and bloodless procedure! This is the follow up after one day! It will slowly erupt to the normal level.

What started as a small ulcer on the tongue three months ago, and almost was ignored as nothing significant, turned into this lesion in short span. As we had seen the progress and growth of the lesion, we advised a biopsy immediately to get an accurate diagnosis.

Unfortunately it was a SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA ( Malignant cancer ) . The patient had no history of smoking or alcohol.
