Dear friends,
We hereby share a case of a black fungus infection of the jaw. A patient with a tooth ache and failed root canal attempts was referred to us for further evaluation and treatment.
A detailed clinical and radiologic examination revealed presence of osteomyelitis of the upper jaw bone on the right hand side.
The treatment plan is to remove the infected jaw bone along with the teeth and then replace the lost jaw bone and teeth with implant supported teeth set.
The patient was taken through the same treatment plan. After removal of jaw bone & teeth he was very conscious about his smile. But once the implant supported prosthesis was put and the case finished his confidence sprung back. The result is truly transformative and extremely satisfying.
You will see a detailed run up of the case in the slides below.
Enjoy the case!!!
