✨ Creating Space. Preserving Profiles. Delivering Smiles. ✨
A challenging orthodontic case where space was created strategically rather than through extractions. 🦷
This case was treated with Damon Braces and bilateral infrazygomatic (IZC) screws to achieve controlled distalization of the posterior segments and create the required space for the impacted canines to erupt into their ideal positions.
🔹 Non-extraction orthodontic treatment
🔹 Damon Braces
🔹 Bilateral IZC skeletal anchorage for distalization
🔹 Strategic space creation for canine eruption
🔹 Mesiodens (supernumerary tooth) extracted
🔹 Careful control of the facial profile throughout treatment
The result — a beautifully aligned smile with the canines brought into the arch, while maintaining the patient’s facial profile and overall facial aesthetics. ✨
Cases like these are a reminder that orthodontics isn’t simply about straightening teeth — it’s about creating space intelligently, controlling anchorage, and achieving harmony between the teeth, smile and face.
Diagnosis. Planning. Biomechanics. Precision.
