🦷 Composite Class IV Restoration | Polychromatic Layering on a 13-Year-OldCase highlight: A 13-year-old male patient reported with a fractured maxillary anterior tooth and pain associated with it affecting both esthetics and confidence.

The challenge was to restore function and natural esthetics in a single sitting while keeping the procedure conservative and age-appropriate.

Single sitting ROOT CANAL TREATMENT was performed and Using a direct composite Class IV restoration with a polychromatic layering technique, the tooth was rebuilt in approximately 1.5 hours.

Shade selection and layering were planned to replicate dentin and enamel, recreate incisal translucency, and achieve a seamless integration with adjacent teeth. Proper isolation, incremental layering, and careful finishing and polishing allowed the restoration to blend invisibly into the smile.

The result:

Natural-looking anterior esthetics.

Functional integrity of the restored tooth.

A visible improvement in the patient’s self-confidence as he left the clinic smiling without hesitation.A simple, structured approach and attention to detail can turn a routine Class IV restoration into a life-impacting transformation for a young patient.
