👉 Mucoceles are formed in the oral mucosa owing to the accumulation of saliva, leading to the swelling of the involved area.

👉 They generally appear as soft, asymptomatic swellings with a color that can range from deep blue to the color of the oral mucosa

✴️ Areas of occurrence????

1️⃣ Lower Lip- most frequently
2️⃣ Floor of the mouth
3️⃣ ventral surface of tongue
4️⃣ Buccal mucosa

👉 We got a walk in pediatric patient, age 10 yrs in our Dental office, with history of growth on the ventral surface of tongue.

👉 Detailed history from patient revealed he had a traumatic bite on the anterior part of the tongue, so patient bite was corrected.

👉 With the help of laser excision was done.
