Prof. Dr. Narasimhan Bharadwaj, Professor at Saveetha Dental College & Hospital, Chennai and Adjunct Professor at MAHSA University, Malaysia, conducted an insightful Lecture cm Hands-on Workshop on “Rotary Selection & Separation – Clinical Perspectives” organized by the Microscope Enhanced Dentistry Club under the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University, in collaboration with Dentsply Sirona on 20th May 2026.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, academicians, and dental practitioners across Delhi NCR. Through his scientific lecture and practical demonstrations, Prof. Dr. Bharadwaj shared valuable clinical insights into rotary endodontics while the hands-on training enhanced participants’ practical skills and understanding of contemporary endodontic procedures, making the program an enriching platform for academic learning and skill enhancement.

✨ Exploring Innovation in Digital Dentistry! ✨

The Department of Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University, under the aegis of 32 Pearls – The Academic Club, visited Leixir Dental Laboratory Group on 15th May 2026 for an insightful academic and industrial exposure visit. 🦷

The students experienced advanced digital workflows, CAD/CAM technology, implant prosthetic procedures, and modern dental laboratory practices, enhancing their understanding of the rapidly evolving field of prosthodontics and digital dentistry.

We sincerely thank Dr. Abhishek Nagpal and Loshua Sapriina for their valuable guidance, support, and for making this learning experience highly informative and inspiring. 🌟

Under the aegis of Young Smile Keepers, Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University, organized a Lecture cm Hands-on Workshop on “AI Prompts in Healthcare and Notebook LM” on 8th May 2026 from 2:15 PM to 3:15 PM at the TV Studio, Srinivasa Ramanujan Block(B-Block), SGT University.

The session was conducted by the resource persons Dr. Shalini Garg, Dr. Priyanka, and Dr. Rini, who collaboratively delivered an insightful and interactive workshop for the dental faculty members.

The workshop focused on the emerging role of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare education and clinical practice, emphasizing the effective use of AI prompts, digital productivity tools, and the application of Notebook LM for academic and professional purposes. The hands-on component enabled participants to practically explore AI-assisted learning, content generation, research support, and workflow enhancement in dentistry.

The session witnessed active participation from faculty members across various departments of the Faculty of Dental Sciences. A total of 25 faculty members attended the workshop and benefitted from the interactive learning experience.

On 5th May 2026, the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Faculty of Dental Sciences in collaboration with Admission team, SGT University organized an Oral Health Screening and Awareness Camp at Scholars Global School, Gurgaon. Under the banner of Centre of Excellence for promoting Oral health through schools (COE-POHS), the camp focused on promoting oral health among students through comprehensive oral examinations and interactive sessions on proper brushing techniques, oral hygiene practices, and prevention of dental trauma. A total of 648 students were examined during the program.

The camp was led by Dr. Rangoli Srivastava, Assistant Professor, with active participation from interns of the Department of Public Health Dentistry. The team worked collectively to enhance awareness, facilitate early diagnosis, and encourage preventive oral healthcare practices among school children.
