Patient came with an unhealed socket of 45 tooth.
Was asked to wait for one and half month for healing.
Two conventional implants were placed one in 45 and one in 46 tooth region both measuring 4.25 X 10 mm.
A straight incision was placed on the ridge and the ridge was exposed using howarth elevator and then implant position were marked using the pilot drills.
Then implant parallelism was checked using the paralleling pins.
And further socket preparation was done using the subsequent size drill upto 3.75 X 10 mm. Implants were then placed with the cover screws.
Closure was done using the vicryl 3-0 with simple interupted sutures. Whole procedure took 40 mins approx.

A female patient visited the clinic for the treatment of pain around the crown of the right lower third molar that had lasted for 7 days. A clinical examination revealed deep caries involving the tooth. Radiographic findings revealed curvature at the apical third of the roots. Surgical extraction of the affected tooth was performed following Povidone-iodine disinfection in the area of tooth 48. Under inferior alveolar nerve block and infiltration anaesthesia, tooth 48 was extracted and the alveolar fossa was scraped to remove inflamed tissue/debris. Normal saline was used to rinse the socket and the wound was closed with 3-0 mersilk suture reverse cutting needle to achieve hemostasis. The extraction procedure lasted for approximately 30 mins.
