The truth is, cavities can be really difficult to spot in their early stages. Most parents don’t notice them until they’ve become larger, which is exactly why regular checkups are so important.
During your child’s visit, l’m not just looking for cavities you can already see... I’m checking for the tiny changes that happen long before they become painful or obvious. And when needed, X-rays help me see what’s happening between the teeth too.
If you’ve noticed a dark spot, sensitivity, a little bump on the gums, or something just doesn’t seem right, don’t stress or feel like you should have caught it sooner. Bring them in and let us take a look.
