A separated instrument inside the canal doesn't always mean the tooth is lost.

In this case, instead of aggressive removal, the broken file was carefully bypassed under a dental operating microscope. Once access was regained beyond the fragment, a thorough re-root canal treatment (Re-RCT) was performed to eliminate infection and properly seal the canal.
