DON’T BRUSH YOUR TEETH IMMEDIATELY AFTER TEA, COFFEE OR ORANGE JUICE! ☕🦷
Your morning dental routine might need a small change.
Tea and coffee are everyday habits for millions of Indians. And if you start your day with orange juice, there’s something important you should know, too.
🍊 Why should you wait before brushing?
Acidic drinks, including orange juice, can temporarily soften the tooth enamel. Brushing immediately afterwards may increase enamel wear.
☕ Tea and coffee aren’t the same as orange juice in terms of acidity, but if you’ve added lemon or consumed other acidic foods and drinks, timing matters.
So, what should you do?
✅ Rinse your mouth with water after an acidic drink.
✅ Wait around 30–60 minutes after consuming acidic foods or drinks before brushing.
✅ Brush twice daily with a fluoride toothpaste.
✅ Avoid aggressive brushing.
Remember: It’s not about giving up your morning chai or coffee. It’s about protecting your teeth while enjoying it!
