Before you decide: surgery or no surgery? 🤔
Social media is full of questions about adenoids and tonsils — but sometimes, we need to step back and look at the whole picture. 👀
A child’s breathing, sleep, oral development and palate are all connected. A narrow palate may be one of the factors worth evaluating, and in selected children, palatal expansion may be part of the treatment plan.
This does not mean every child needs an expander or that surgery is unnecessary. It simply means: don’t make the decision without a complete evaluation.
