Here are 3 important post-pregnancy dental care steps:
✅ Step 1: Once you are medically cleared after delivery — usually around 6 weeks — visit a dentist immediately. Do not wait and do not assume it will heal on its own.
✅ Step 2: If you had an untreated dental infection during pregnancy, ask your dentist whether the tooth can still be saved. Every week matters.
✅ Step 3: If your tooth needs a root canal or extraction, get it treated without delay. Waiting too long can lead to permanent tooth loss.
