We operated more than 40 cases of black fungus this season with 100% success.

In Covid-19 patients, the blood vessels and mucosa of the airway are damaged and the level of serum iron is elevated, which results in a favorable environment for the growth of the black fungus. Covid-19 patients are given steroids, which increase their sugar levels, and long-term ventilation lowers their immunity. The combination of all these factors leads to the fungus spreading and infecting the patient.

Most of the time, the patient's life can be saved by surgical debridement of the infected part. This prevents the disease from progressing. After the successful outcome of treatment, the patient undergoes plastic surgery.
