Always remember- Veneer is the final option
🧲 Advise patient for Ortho first ( this pt had undergone Ortho twice before, this is post Ortho scenario)
🧲Don't advise veneer for very young patients. Because veneer are proven to last only for 10-12 years. Post which frequency bonding failure leading to dislodgement of the veneer can happen
🧲Look out for the shade- if more brown, bleaching in atleast two visits. Improve the shade first before the final impression
🧲No Local anaesthesia as the preparation is going to be in enamel only. And it can indicate you when ur near dentin
🧲Strict no 🙀 for deep bite case- prefer orthodontic correction
🧲Advise root canal and crown for severely damaged tooth or extensively restored tooth and not veneers as the damage would have already reached dentin. Can end up with bonding failures
🧲Veneer has complications- caries underneath the margins, hypersensitivity, bonding failures if prep is deep in dentin. So always study the case properly before you start
