Brushing harder does not mean brushing better. 🦷

One of the most common mistakes I see in my clinic — patients using hard bristle brushes with excessive force, thinking it will clean better. It does the opposite.

Overbrushing wears away your enamel — the protective layer that never grows back. It causes gum recession, cervical abrasion, and increased sensitivity to hot and cold. All from something as simple as brushing too hard.

The right brush is soft. The right pressure is gentle. The right motion is circular — not aggressive side to side.

Ye normal nahi hai — ye aapke gums ki taraf se ek clear warning sign hai. Inflamed gums mein bacteria aur plaque jama ho jaata hai — aur brush ka halka sa touch bhi bleeding karwa deta hai. Iska naam hai Gingivitis — gum disease ki pehli stage.

Agar abhi treat kar liya — bilkul theek ho sakta hai. Agar ignore kiya — ye aage serious gum disease ban sakta hai jisme daant hilne tak ki naubat aa jaati hai.
