Here the patient complained of severe sensitivity to cold beverages and food. On examination there was tooth colour restoration in lower first molar and cervical abrasion. The faulty restoration led to secondary caries and also caries in adjacent tooth ( second molar). Both were restored with composite restoration.

Tough tooth even tougher isolation. 27mesial proximal caries.
➡️The tooth position was buccal placed and due to improper contact the patient had complained of food lodgement.
➡️On Examination mesial marginal ridge looked intact however radiograph showed caries approximating pulp.
Steps
1) Rubber dam & occlusal approach
2) Caries remived using Round Bur
Sectional Matrix with silcone wedges
3) Air Abrasion
4) SE Primer and Bond on Dentine
5) IDS with pulp capping
6) Enamel Prep
7) total etch protocol
Combination of Bulk fill at proximal wall, GC Everstick flow, microhybrid layer followed by Nanohybrid Composite.
