One of the biggest shifts in my approach to implant dentistry has been understanding that the surgery itself is only one part of the process.

For me, two things have become increasingly important:

• Planning the final prosthesis before placing the implant
• Planning the armamentarium before starting the procedure

Good implant dentistry is not just about placing an implant correctly. It is about anticipating the final restoration, understanding the surgical requirements, and being adequately prepared for the case.

Better planning → better preparedness → better clinical decision-making.

A positive step for dentists in Madhya Pradesh. 🦷

For the first time in India, a State Dental Council has introduced an initiative providing professional indemnity insurance and accidental insurance benefits to dentists registered with the council.

Under this initiative by the Madhya Pradesh State Dental Council, registered dentists receive:

• ₹10 lakh Professional Indemnity Insurance
• ₹3 lakh Accidental Insurance
• Automatic renewal of the insurance benefits along with renewal of dental registration

As a dentist, I believe initiatives like these are important because they provide practitioners with an additional layer of professional and financial security.

A welcome step towards supporting the dental profession and the dentists who serve patients every day.

Microscopy doesn't guarantee successful endodontics.

There, I said it.

Some of the best root canal treatments were performed before microscopes became mainstream. And even today, a microscope in the wrong hands remains just an expensive magnifying glass.

A microscope can improve visualization.

It cannot: • Improve diagnosis • Create access for you • Understand anatomy for you • Disinfect the canal system for you • Make clinical decisions for you

Technology amplifies skill. It does not replace it.

The obsession shouldn't be "When should I buy a microscope?"

The better question is: "Am I extracting maximum value from the fundamentals?"

Magnification is powerful.

But success in endodontics still depends on biology, diagnosis, ex*****on, and judgment.

Use technology to become better.

Don't expect technology to make you better.
