We often talk about millets for their fibre, minerals and overall nutritional benefits—but they can also fit nicely into a tooth-friendly diet.

Some simple reasons to include millets in your diet:

🦷 Fibre-rich – Fibre-containing foods can stimulate chewing and saliva flow, which naturally helps cleanse the mouth.

🦷 Nutrient-dense – Millets provide minerals and other nutrients that support overall health, including the nutrients involved in maintaining healthy teeth and gums.

🦷 A better alternative to highly processed snacks – Choosing minimally processed, wholesome snacks more often can help reduce our dependence on sugary, sticky snack foods.

🦷 Variety matters – Jowar, ragi, bajra, foxtail millet and other millets can add nutritional variety to your everyday diet.
