✨ Attended as MPDCI Observer at the seminar on “In-House Aligners – Myth to Reality” held on August 29, 2025 at RCDS Auditorium.
A seminar on the theme “In-House Aligners – Myth to Reality” was organized on August 29, 2025, at the RCDS Auditorium, by the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, in association with the Orthodontic Study Group of Bhopal.

The seminar featured a highly insightful lecture delivered by Dr. Sarvaraj Kohli, Professor, Department of Orthodontics, Hitkarni Dental College & Hospital, Jabalpur, who shared his expertise on the advances, practicality, and challenges of in-house aligner therapy.

The event was graced by Dr. Chandresh Shukla, Member, Dental Council of India, and President, Madhya Pradesh Dental Council, as the Chief Guest.

I had the privilege of attending the program as an Observer on behalf of the Madhya Pradesh State Dental Council of India (MPDCI), witnessing an engaging academic exchange that brought together orthodontic professionals and students alike.

The seminar served as an important platform for enhancing knowledge, encouraging dialogue, and promoting innovation in orthodontics.

BDS + Internship Training Program at People’s College of Dental Sciences & Research Centre, Bhopal

I, Dr. Chandni Bharti, Professor, Department of Orthodontics, People’s Dental Academy, had the honor of conducting the sensitization programme, contributing to this remarkable initiative spearheaded by Dr. Chandresh Shukla, President, MPDCI.

This collaborative effort marks a significant step towards strengthening dental education and empowering future practitioners in Madhya Pradesh.The Madhya Pradesh State Dental Council of India (MPDCI) successfully organized an Internship Training Program for BDS and internship students from various dental colleges across Madhya Pradesh at People’s College of Dental Sciences & Research Centre, Bhopal.

The primary objective of the program was to provide comprehensive sensitization and training, equipping young dental professionals with the skills, knowledge, and awareness essential for their professional journey.

The labial frenulum often attaches to the center of the upper lip and between the upper two front teeth. This can cause a large gap and gum recession by pulling the gums off the bone. A labial frenectomy removes the labial frenulum. Orthodontic patients often have this procedure done to assist with closing a front tooth gap.
