Treatment of Bell’s Palsy or facial paralysis of a 30 year old male done at Dirghayu Oral & Maxillofacial Clinic and Braces Centre, Baruipur. Chief complaints of the patient were unable to close his eyelid on right side, drooping of face on the right side.

“Bell’s Palsy” is a type of facial paralysis that results in a temporary inability to control the facial muscles on the affected side of the face. Symptoms can vary from mild to severe. They may include muscle twitching, weakness or total loss of the ability to move one and in rare cases, both sides of the face. Other symptoms include drooping of the eyelid, a change in taste, and pain around the ear.

Root Canal Treatment done in a 37 years old male with severe pain in right upper 2nd premolar. The treatment was done under High Magnification using Microscope to increase the perfection and prognosis of the therapy. Rubberdam was used to isolate the affected tooth so that the the medicaments and irrigating solutions could not enter into the oral cavity.
No cap or crown (prosthesis) is required for this case. So almost the natural curvature and anatomy of tooth is taken care.

Without Microscope proper Root Canal Treatment cannot be possible as mother nature has created a lot of variations in Root Canal Anatomy in almost each and everyone.

77 years old lady visited us. She just wanted to get conventional removable prosthesis (denture). She had 4 teeth in her upper jaw and 6 teeth in lower jaw. She was facing a lot of difficulties since a long time. Dentures or any removable prosthesis is only used to hide our edentulous areas (where teeth are missing). It doesn’t help in chewing our all favourite foods.

We have given our treatment plan to her. We have given fix prosthesis with the help of her 10 original teeth (4 in upper jaw & 6 in lower jaw) so that she can eat whatever she wants without any problem as well as maintaining her aesthetics. No issue of removing the prosthesis before sleeping or putting them in glass of water. Her confidence of smiling and chewing is restored.

For the very first time in any private Dental Clinic in Baruipur a patient who met with a road traffic accident had undergone treatment to get corrected his fracture.

3D CT scan report which has been attached is describing the fracture.
