KCDS&H is offering courses in Under Graduation (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) and Post Graduation(Master of Dental Surgery) in various branches. Which are recognized by Dental Council of India, New Delhi and Government of India. KCDS&H is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. The college is located in a region of stunning scenery with hills, tall trees,

flowers and a beautiful skyline. College has 113 acres area and the place got its name Krishnadevaraya Nagar from the Dental College. KCDS&H has 38 Post Graduation seats in the following departments
¤ Oral Medicine & Radiology (2 seats)
¤ Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (3 seats)
¤ Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (5 seats)
¤ Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry (3 seats)
¤ Conservatice dentistry and Endodontics (6 seats)

¤ Public Health Dentistry (3 seats)
¤ Oral and Maxilofacial Pathology (5 seats)
There are 60 Under Graduate seats in the college. College has excellent academic as well as clinical staffs to take care students both academically and clinically. College also has constant Rank Holders, Toppers and Gold Medalist at the University level. KCDS&H is serving under the motto of "SERVICE TO HUMANITY AND TRANSFORMATION OF SOCIETY THROUGH EDUCATION" . Along with this motto the budding Doctors of this College believe in four words, these are "DEDICATION" , "SERVICE" , "HUMANITY" , "SACRIFICE". KCDS&H also has students and alumni from countries IRAQ, BANGLADESH, SRI LANKA, UAE, NEPAL, IRAN, SAUDI ARABIA.

We are proud to share that Dr. Aksh*tha H.M, Senior Lecturer from the Department of Prosthodontics, represented Karnataka at the prestigious Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 held in New Delhi from 9–12 January 2026.

The programme involved multiple stages, including a quiz with 50 lakh participants, an essay competition with 3 lakh entries, and state level rounds, through which she was selected among the 45 representatives from Karnataka.

During the four day event, she presented on “Youth in Democracy and Governance” and had the opportunity to listen to interactions by Honourable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi , National Security Adviser of India Shri Ajit Doval ,Group Capt Shubhanshu Shukla, Indian Airforce.

Her participation at this prestigious national platform is a matter of immense pride for our institution and we wish her continued success in her future endeavours.

We are proud to announce that three of our 2nd year BDS students, Keerthana T, Priyanka D, and Shrushti R K, have been awarded the RGUHS Undergraduate Research Grant 2025–26, with a grant amount of ₹28,300 each, for their innovative research in dental science under the guidance of Dr. Arul Selvan, Professor and Head of Department of General Pathology & Microbiology.

The selected projects focus on evaluating the antimicrobial effects of plant based extracts against key oral pathogens associated with root canal infections and dental caries.
