🦷 Case Presentation | Anterior Aesthetic Rehabilitation

A traumatic injury resulted in fractures of the two maxillary anterior teeth, necessitating a comprehensive restorative approach.

🔹 Treatment protocol: • Clinical and radiographic evaluation • Endodontic treatment completed over two visits • Composite core build-ups • Full-contour lithium disilicate (E.max) crowns for aesthetic and functional rehabilitation

📸 Clinical stage: Crown try-in prior to final adhesive cementation, with assessment of shade, form, contours, and overall aesthetic integration.

The goal was to restore the natural appearance of the anterior teeth while re-establishing function through a conservative, well-planned restorative approach.

✨ Complex Anterior Smile Rehabilitation ✨

A challenging case of congenitally missing lateral incisors, where the patient had previously received dental implants for both missing teeth.

However, the existing implant crowns appeared bulky, over-contoured and extruded, affecting the natural aesthetics of the smile. The patient also had a midline diastema.

🔹 My approach:
• Replaced the existing implant abutments with custom-made zirconia abutments
• Fabricated new screw-retained porcelain crowns on both implants
• Placed porcelain veneers on the central incisors to close the midline gap
• Carefully refined the contours, emergence profiles, proportions and symmetry to harmonise the implant restorations with the natural teeth

The goal was not merely to replace the missing teeth, but to create integration, balance and a natural emergence profile.
