What an incredible experience delivering my first TEDx talk!

Standing on the TEDx stage and sharing something I truly believe in was both exciting and deeply fulfilling. It was an opportunity to reflect on my journey, share my thoughts, and connect with an audience in a completely different way.

Laser-Assisted Labial Frenectomy – A Soft Tissue Win

A bulky labial frenum can exert continuous pull on the interdental papilla, contributing to a persistent midline black triangle between the central incisors.

In this case, a laser-assisted labial frenectomy was performed to eliminate the aberrant frenal pull while preserving surrounding soft tissue integrity.

📌 Immediate post-op: Black triangle clearly evident due to loss of papillary support
📌 1-month follow-up: Complete fill of the black triangle achieved through uneventful healing and soft tissue rebound

Lasers allow for precise incision, minimal bleeding, reduced inflammation, and favorable wound healing, creating ideal conditions for papillary regeneration—often without the need for additional grafting procedures.
