At around 87 years of age, Siddappa lost his limb due to gangrene. 🦿

For nearly 4 years, he did not use a prosthesis and became completely dependent, spending most of his time bedridden.

But he never lost his confidence. ❤️

He had one simple goal — to walk again and return to his work without depending on anyone.

When Siddappa visited Kshemaa, we carefully assessed his condition and understood that, after four years without walking, he needed a gradual and practical prosthetic solution.

We prescribed a basic prosthetic setup focused on safety, comfort, and progressive mobility.

And today, seeing him take his own steps with just one-hand support is a truly meaningful milestone. 🙏

His journey reminds us that age is not the only factor — determination, proper assessment, rehabilitation, and the right prosthetic prescription can make every step count.

From 35° flexion tightness to almost 7° — a journey of patience, assessment, and continuous prosthetic adjustments. 🦿

When the patient first came to Kshemaa, he had around 35° of flexion tightness. During the initial assessment, we explained the condition and the correction process, but the patient was initially unhappy and concerned.

With proper understanding, regular follow-ups, socket corrections, alignment adjustments, repeated trials, and continuous monitoring, we worked step by step toward improving his gait and comfort.

Today, his flexion tightness has reduced to almost 7°, and seeing this progress has made the patient extremely happy and confident. ❤️
