Self examination is the key to prevention..Today is National Oral Cancer Day...Self examine yourself by gently pressing your finger along the floor of your mouth and underside of your tongue to feel for any lumps, swellings or ulcers. Tilt back your head and open your mouth wide to check the roof of your mouth see if there are changes in colour or any ulcers. Check for changes in texture with your finger... Please consult an Oral pathologist if you find any thing unusual...
