Fibre is often associated with digestion, but its role goes far beyond that.
It helps support gut health, nourishes beneficial gut bacteria, supports healthy blood sugar levels, and can help keep you feeling fuller for longer.
Personally, I don’t count grams of fibre. Instead, I focus on eating real, minimally processed foods. Most of my fibre comes from vegetables, fruit, berries, avocados, nuts and seeds, and occasionally legumes.
As someone who follows an integrative approach to health, I believe that building your meals around whole foods is often more sustainable than chasing numbers or following restrictive diets.
Small, consistent habits can make a big difference over time.
